Dr. Sibley is the senior medical director and global clinical lead for the TransCon PTH program. With over fifteen years of experience in clinical trials, his career has spanned from investigator-initiated single center studies in academic medicine through global pivotal trials in industry. He has published more than 60 peer reviewed manuscripts and invited editorials and served as a grant reviewer for national professional and scientific organizations. As a staff physician and researcher at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center he had the opportunity to work side by side with some of the world’s top experts in rare diseases, including chronic granulomatous disease and genetic autoinflammatory syndromes. These experiences led him to a career-long passion for rare and orphan disease, which drew him to work with the TransCon PTH program at Ascendis Inc. Since joining Ascendis he has led clinical development efforts in the PaTH Forward and PaTHway trials. Most recently he led the clinical team authoring the US New Drug Application for palopegteriparatide.
